About Bligh Window Fashions

Bligh Window Fashions had its humble beginnings in a garage in Bligh Park some 27 years ago. The owner, Roy Rogers started his business with a vision to be the best, offering customers the best service and products available. Over the ensuing years, Bligh Screens and Doors, as it was originally known, grew steadily and moved into a factory in Richmond and began manufacturing vertical blinds, eventually changing its name to Bligh Screens and Blinds. With the loyal support of its customers in the Hawkesbury and surrounding areas, staff levels increased with the growth of the company and very quickly became known in the area as a company that offered friendly, professional and dedicated service providing a quality product.

Moving to a more central position in South Windsor in 1991 into a larger complex, Bligh continued to offer professional service and quality products expanding into the manufacture of Holland blinds and Awnings. In the year 2000, with the support and encouragement of satisfied customers and enthusiastic staff, Bligh entered and won the Hawkesbury 2000 Business Awards. This qualified this fast growing company to enter the Champion of Champions Awards in 2001. With a field of over 800 entrants, narrowing down to 279 finalist, and an eventual 30 category winners, Bligh Screens and Blinds, capped off a sensational evening by being the first local business in the Hawkesbury to bring back the Champion of Champions Winners Trophy for Specialised Services & Trade. It was at about the same time that the company once again moved into a large factory/showroom complex in a new development at Vineyard to house its ever increasing production and staff.

With the change in the tide of the economy and shortages in trained staff over the last few years, Bligh once again revamped and became Bligh Window Fashions, becoming a specialised dealer in the quality Luxaflex brand of blinds and awnings and eventually increasing its product range to suit the ever changing market. Roy still believes in providing the best product and service at the best possible price. This is what the company has built its reputation and growth on. With its increased ability to concentrate on expert service and advice. Our company will continue to source the best innovative window furnishings available on the market today, to increase our ability to satisfy the ever changing needs of today’s customers.

Now situated in a brand new complex in North Richmond, Bligh Window Fashions continues to set the standards in service and quality in window coverings, screens and security door products.
